Sexual Wellbeing

Wellbeing encompasses more than just physical, mental, and social health. We are still sexual beings, and we want to make sure that you’re still practicing responsible sexual practices during this time. If you’re in need of resources in the case of sexual or domestic violence, we want to make sure that you’re aware of where you can turn for help. The below resources can prove useful.

  • Planned Parenthood: Planned Parenthood has outlined how COVID-19 has an impact on your sexual health
  • Fenway Health: Fenway Health has drafted some quick guidelines when it comes to the coronavirus and your sex life.
  • Title IX: Even though we’re not on campus, WVU’s Title IX office still works to foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment.
  • West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence: If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence during this time, there are still resources available.
  • National Domestic Violence Hotline: The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during this time. You can call them directly at 1-800-799-7233
