Join WELLWVU and the Office of Compliance and Prevention Education as WVU hosts the fourth annual Prevention Summit.
This year's Summit will take place on Friday, January 30th, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm in the Mountainlair on WVU's Morgantown campus. Prevention experts from across the University community will come together to share the exciting work they've done or are currently implementing in prevention.
To submit a proposal for a breakout session (50 minutes), please click here to submit. Deadline for submission is November 21st, 2025. Accepted submissions will be notified by mid-December.
Examples of breakout session topics include:
- Sexual Violence Prevention
- Substance Use/Misuse
- Food Insecurity
- Mental Health
- Technology-Related Misuse (A.I., etc.)
- Basic Needs Issues
- Sexual Health/STI Prevention
- Campus Safety
Registration to attend the Prevention Summit is open to all WVU students, faculty, and staff members and IS FREE OF CHARGE. Registration will open in the beginning of December.
