Wellness and Health Promotion
For the first time, WVU is participating in the nationally respected American College Health Association- National College Health Assessment (ACHA-NCHA II). A random sample of students will be contacted through MIX and asked to complete a survey. This confidential questionnaire asks about student health behaviors and should take about 20 minutes to complete. Students that receive an e-mail inviting them to participate are highly encouraged to do so. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in making WVU a healthier, and better place to be. Invitations will arrive in MIX e-mail between February 15, 2010 and March 5, 2010.
Body 4 Break vs. 2.0 is the fourth annual body fat loss contest with the goal of helping students get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle by providing plenty of motivation and education.
This year’s program is FREE. Both participants must be full-time WVU students to participate (that’s being registered for 12 credits as an undergraduate and 9 credits as a graduate student). The program is not open to SRC members or WVU staff. If you have questions, you can either e-mail your question to body4break@mail.wvu.edu or call Nancy Oliverio at 304-293-5065. Also, feel free to send your questions to the Body 4 Break event page or Twitter page.
YOU CAN REGISTER ONLINE BY VISITING WWW.STUDENTRECCENTER.WVU.EDU/BODY4BREAK
