Did you know that 82% of WVU students haven’t used tobacco products in the last 30 days?* Also, tobacco contains a number of toxic chemicals and carcinogens. So quit today!
The West Virginia Tobacco Quitline is a FREE telephone coaching service to help West Virginians and WVU students quit. With the support of a trained Quit Coach, nicotine replacement therapy or other help, you can become tobacco free!
Most West Virginia residents and students age 18 and older who smoke, dip, or use other tobacco products are eligible for FREE telephone coaching and may qualify for FREE nicotine replacement therapy.
When you call the Quitline, their helpful staff will assist you in determining your needs. Registration takes about 5 minutes. Tobacco users may then talk with a Quit Coach and create a quit plan. Our phone coaches are highly trained professionals in smoking and tobacco cessation. Your coach will continue to support you during those tough times when you are in the process of quitting. Our coaches are West Virginians!
