Have concerns about others who may be at risk for an opioid overdose (including heroin)? Join us to learn about the life saving opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone, the Good Samaritan laws in WV, and where/how to access/obtain naloxone. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff and will run 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
With mid-terms fast approaching, it is normal for students to experience increased stress and anxiety. This workshop is designed to help students manage these feelings in healthy, effective ways. Students will learn about evidence-based strategies to help control worry, relieve tension, and reduce the overall impact of stress on their lives.

Pop culture can be a great escape from the stress of daily life. Whether it is watching an entire series on Netflix in a day, reading a book about wizards, or tabletop gaming, there is evidence to suggest that these activities can be used as a form of stress relief and self care. This workshop will discuss ways in which we can engage with our favorite characters to recharge and inspire.
Finals and summer plans and moving home – oh my! Finals and the end of the semester can cause mounting stress for students. This workshop is designed to help students learn about and develop tools and skills for managing stress while also finding some balance for their lives.
